I love a good portrait session, I learn all about you and you learn some silly things about me.

However there are some hints that I can share with you that will help your portrait sparkle…. YAY!

1. Should I wear patterns and colours? Good question! …. Yes to colours, No to patterns, really thin lines on shirts can cause what’s called morie its almost impossible to get rid of in post and can leave you with a weird looking pattern on your top. So if you love a stripe make sure its wide. Colours can be great, block colours or a hit of a colour is a lovely way to pop. Males can generally wear a light coloured shirt.

2. Should I wear makeup? Good Question!… Yes, we all love to feel like we are looking our best, but don’t over do it, keep the spray tan to a minimum and make sure your foundation is a good match, I do love a bit of lippy, gloss is alway good for keep those dry lips away and men try some chap sticks! I have a small Make-up department so if you forget anything I’ve got you covered.

3. Do you have a skinny lens? Good Question!…. No I don’t BUT I have excellent skills at making you feel and look amazing by using different angles and poses and flattering lighting. So don’t ever stress about that, you are in good hands.

4. How many outfits should I bring? Good Question!….. Bring at least 2, 2 different jackets and a different top to the one you are wearing, some people like to have long sleeves so if it makes you feel comfortable bring it!

5. Clothing attire - Yes ……It’s always good to make sure the items of clothing are in good nick, well fitted suites look gooooood, clean clothing from our fur babies helps, and defiantly wear the attired that resonates to your brand and business.

6. Should I bring props to the shoot?…. Great Question…. Sure! if it relates to your bunisess and the shoot, bring laptops or notebooks.
